What continues through us

Remember with care. Create with purpose.

Every creative theme includes What Continues Through Us: a response to shared public loss or an approved public legacy, expressed through a quality such as courage, care, service or creativity.

The Wall of Remembrance

A carefully moderated space for the shared national losses of the Kariba Ferry disaster and Cyclone Idai in Chimanimani. Contributions focus on gratitude, lessons and qualities that endure, with factual care and no graphic retelling.

The Memory Gallery and performance tributes

Curated works honour approved deceased creative-sector figures, public icons and organisational founders. Music, theatre, dance and spoken word can interpret their contribution. Political figures and private student, staff or family memorials are excluded.

Legacy that supports the living

Planned Legacy Attribute Awards recognise qualities demonstrated by living students. Sponsor-supported legacy features are reviewed for suitability, permissions and factual accuracy. Funding does not purchase artistic conclusions or influence judging.

Participation with choice and dignity

No student must disclose private bereavement or recreate personal loss. Symbolic and collective work is welcome, with teacher support and safeguarding review before public display.
