Understanding across generations

Help the conversation travel home.

A young person’s work can say something that an ordinary conversation has not yet found words for. The festival gives families and educators ways to listen and respond constructively.

Short enough to fit. Useful enough to keep.

The planned format is 20 minutes of focused input followed by 10 minutes of guided questions or application. Sessions can be physical or virtual, with topics shaped by school questions and emerging creative themes.

For parents, teachers and school counsellors

Explore communication, belonging, pressure, digital life, healthy routines and appropriate support. Sessions focus on practical understanding and responsible action rather than diagnosing young people through their work.

Contribute something specific

Speakers and facilitators are invited to propose a clear topic, audience and takeaway. Content and facilitation must be appropriate for age, context and safeguarding needs.
